Something not working?

You can download Flaguu from the app store using the link in the header. Trying to join a friends game? Just input the six digit game code on the home page.

At this time, Flaguu is build using Apple's frameworks for maps, location and the glass interface. We plan to add support for Android in the future.

Flaguu is free to download and play. Joining games is completely free!

However, Hosting games requires a game token. All new accounts recieve one game token for free. You can purchase additional game tokens in the app, or redeem a code on your account page. Game hosting is not a subscription, and tokens do not expire. You can host as many games as you have tokens for. You can also test games before you host them, even without tokens, completely for free. You can start one from the hosting screen, which will present you with a choice if you would like to test a game, or host for real. Test games are capped at one hour, with up to 3 players including you. You can test a game up to 3 times.

Codes should be 6 digits. Still not working? Check these:

1. The host has actually hosted the game. They should have clicked host, and also make sure on the hosting screen that "let other players join" is toggled on.
2. The code was entered correctly. Double-check the digits. You can also click the "people" icon on the home screen to see games that you have been invited to.
3. Im in, but theres a green screen: Make sure the host has swiped across on their hosting display

Are your location permissions set to always? Each person should open Settings, then Flaguu, then Location, and allow access.

Two other possibilities:

• The game has the location module turned off, in which case locations won't show on the map.
• Someone is hiding, or you don't have permissions to view location. For tag and hide & seek, whoever created the game had the option to disable locaitons in certain areas or at certain times. Confer with your host.
• On the settings page of the live game, make sure that both toggles are on, and you are sharing your location with the server.

Tell your host. The host screen has an overrides panel for correcting scores and coin balances. The host is also able to modify current effects, pauses, freezes, and other parts of the game from their screen.

Leave the game, and rejoin with the game code. If the group you wish to join isn't showing up, make sure the host has approved you to join the group from the hosting screen.

This is a location-gate pause. Flaguu recorded where you were, and now wants you back there before play resumes. Walk back to the marked spot and swipe to continue. The host can also release you from the hosting display.

Probably. Flaguu is sending your location to the server every 5 seconds which is what allows us to get locations with such precision. While battery drain shouldn't be negligible, it also shouldn't drain your battery very hard. Id say most regualar sized iPhones drain in about 6 hours. I'd reccomend bringing a battery pack.

You can join your own game as a player. Just make sure to leave the hosting screen and join as a regular player. Leaving and rejoining the game constantly will have no effect on the game, and you can still use the hosting screen to manage the game while you are playing. You can also have a friend host for you if you want to play without managing the game.

Importing replaces the project you have open. Save or export before importing anything. Saving a game from the Community page to your account creates an entirely new game, and will not override a current one.

If you have accidently overriden, there are two possibilites that may be able to restore your game.

• Immediately force close the app. There is a chance the game has not synced to the server yet. In this circumstance, then open your previously saved game on the server and either make a copy, or export as .json from the web editor
• If you have previously exported the game, you can import it back into the editor. If you have not exported, and the game has synced to the server, then unfortunately there is no way to restore your game.

As many as you have game tokens for. Hosting a game uses one token. New accounts recieve a free first token, and you can purchase more from the Flaguu app

A token is used up the moment the game is created. Ending or deleting the game does not return the token. If you have not started a game, please email us and we will assist you in the best way possible.

It is easy and cheap to purchase more tokens from the app, or you can from redeem a code on your account page.

Yes. Every game you build gets three test games, free. A test game runs for one hour, and allows three people, including you, to join.

Twenty saved projects per account. Export the ones you are not working on. Game .jsons will contain all data about the game, and you can re-import the file at any time to continue working on your game. Press and hold to delete current saved games.

Collaborative work is the best! Flaguu is a real world collaborative platform. In app, or on the webiste, you can share games either using the share button at the top of the app creator, or the Share button on the web editor. You can then choose to add people by username as either an editor or a viewer.

Note that because the editor saves to overwrite games, it is reccomended that shared games are only edited by one person at a time.

Yes, it is. You can use the web editor on a computer to build your game (which supports copy and paste from spreadsheets!), and then save it to your account. It will then be available in the app for you to host.

Check the duration of your event. Most events require a non-zero duration to become active. Still having issues? Make sure that your timeline starts at a time in the future (configuarable from the host screen or the editor), and that events are not placed after game end functions.
